Should driving while talking on a cell phone be outlawed?

No. Not if the person talking can do it responsibly. In other words: You need to be devoting your attention to DRIVING, and talking on the phone should come second. Also, you shouldn't do it very often. I know that when I'm driving and talking, I'm paying more attention to the road, and a lot of the time, I'll put the person on speaker phone so I can have both hands free. (I'll put the phone in my lap.)

What are the 10 foods you must have in your refrigerator and/or your kitchen cabinet?

1. Ketchup and Hellman's Mayo. Yes, they are practically one in the same, so therefore, they share the #1 spot.
2. Coco Cola Classic. No diet, no special crap. The original Coke.
3. Pasta-Roni Angel Hair Pasta with herbs. Awesome lunch for 2 people. (Also, as a side dish when we have shrimp)
4. Fruit gummy snacks. Tasty.
5. Milk
6. Ovaltine
7. Cereal
8. spaghetti and prego/classico sauce
9. leaf lettuce (red and green.)
10. bacon bits.

2:40 AM

This is slightly ridiculous. Went to bed last night at, oh... 12:30, fell asleep AFTER 3 AM, got up at 6:30, worked until 3, went swimming after for about an hour, got taco bell, went home, napped for an hour an a half, and now I can't sleep. And believe me, it's not for lack of trying. I laid in there for a long while trying to fall asleep, but I think all I succeeded in was robbing Branden of his blankets. But, I dunno. I'm off tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so maybe I'll actually get some good sleep. And then after this week, it's back to school. I'm hoping that Monica remembers that I start the 20th. I told her, but she didn't write it down, and I don't want to have some big hubbub about it on Thursday when I go check schedule. Because I just can't work Mondays and Wednesdays, it's just not possible with my schedule.

That, and I'm seriously sick of every single weekend having to be in there before 8 AM, even though most of the other hosts don't have to be in until after 10 every weekend. Sorry, that's just not right. But, whatever. My school schedule states that on Saturday and Sunday I'm available from 11 until 6. And that's what I'm sticking to. Because I need time to study, and I can't afford to lose sleep on a weekend, because I'll need it for school.

God. And now I'm hungry again. Headache. And my throat hurts. Why? Dunno, could be something to do with the fact that I now apparently sleep with my mouth open. Because the past few days, I have a dream that I'm drinking water but it's not making my mouth any wetter, and then I wake up and my mouth it the damn Sahara desert and I'm thinking that it's a good thing there's always a water bottle beside me. I woke up this morning thinking I wouldn't be able to talk today. I kept having to get water and clear my throat a lot. That's like, the ONLY bad part about hosting. Having to talk so much.

Caity and I are supposed to hang out sometime this week. I think we're going to go to Spagetti's and see Mike at work. lol. But, I don't know if they do the rotation the same way we do, because most restaurants are smoke free now. (Ours isn't. It sucks. You have no idea how many times I've had to hear "Well, in Ohio, it's ALL smoke free." Um, sorry, you're in INDIANA. lol.) So, we're just going to have to be all "UM. Yeah, we want Mike G's section. n'stuff."

Branden and I have set a definite wedding date. Yes, that's right, we set a date before the real proposal! So, October 31, 2009 I will no longer be an unwed lady! I'm basically a wife anyway, we're just making it official then. lol. It's not a Halloween themed wedding, necessarily, but we are going to have some jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins around, and we're going for Apple red, black, champagne, and orange as colors. (My dress is champagne with an apple colored sash that leads into the train.) It should be pretty great. Expect me to talk a lot about it. lol. We're going to have it at my parents house, probably. Outside. We'll have to have an alternative venue, though, in case of adverse weather. (IE: Rain. My parents yard floods like back in Noah's time. The whole town does.) And, there's a big parking issue. I'm putting a cap at 100 guests (And the only reason it's THAT high is because we have large families.) and there's enough parking for about... 6 cars, not including mine, Brandens, and my parents two cars. So. yeah. We might have to find an alternate spot with more parking, or have people park at the church down the street and walk. (Which would stink for the older people. We'd have to do shuttles.)

Anyway. I'm going to get a small snack and try to hit the hay. I'm so tired, I just dunno if I'll be able to sleep!

I start school in TEN DAYS! TEN! Monday the 13th will make it exactly a week. BUT HOLY COW! I'm glad I've got all this stuff taken care of now, though. My school knows what's up with my loan, so I'm technically paid off with them, I've got all my books. I got a printer. I'm pretty much set. I'm hoping my Grandpa realizes that I start school soon and gives me my school money. I want to go shopping with it. (Ok, not ALL of it. But a heft chunk. I want to have clothes for the whole year taken care of. And after that, I'm going to try to buy a desktop computer for us to have. There's an acer desktop at Wal-Mart for under $500, purdy shweet.)

I'm so not ready for French, though. And I also cannot believe I took english COMPOSITION. I suck at writing! AHHH. *runs around like a chicken with its head cut off.*

In other news: Eclipse was good. Very good. I liked it, save for the part were Bella is STILL NOT A VAMPIRE! I think there was a little too much back story in this one. Where the werewolves came from, how Rosalie AND Jasper became vampires, she's invented this thing called IMPRINTING with the wolves... lol. It was a lot to take in. But, the almost-sex between Bella and Edward, the promise of a wedding in the near future, all of that stuff is enough to make me wait so long for the 4th. It probably won't be out for another YEAR. But I'm going to preorder it, definitely. I want it sooo bad.

I'm going to go eat something though. I'm hungry. :D

So, I'm importing songs to itunes right now, and it's kind of slow. lol. I'm only on disc 4. :( Oh well.

I got an overdraft I think. Which makes me angry. I didn't know that when you order stuff from amazon, the money wasn't taken from your account until it shipped. If I'd known that, I would have had more money in my account at the time. So, that was taken out, and I don't have anymore money to put in until I get my check, and then something ELSE comes out, I'm thinking Netflix, which is $17, and I only had $12 in my account. So now I'm negative $40, and I'm praying that it doesn't compound $30 daily. Because I really don't want to owe my bank $60 for something I didn't even know what coming out of my account.

So, basically, even though my check is going to be like... $175, almost ALL of it will be gone tomorrow. I have to pay my phone bill, pay my overdraft, and I might pay my insurance for August, if it won't run me down all the way. So, my $75 phone bill, $30 overdraft, $50 insurance for 2 weeks... sucks. All my bills due all at once, plus the overdraft. Luckily the insurance company is just my parents, lol. They're a little more lenient on due dates. (I actually have State Farm, but my parents pay it, even though it's in my name. I just pay them for it. So it's always paid on time, and I get a cheaper rate because it's grouped with theirs.)

I need to go to bed now though, I think. I'm tired and I need to start getting to bed earlier. 1-4 AM every night is NOT GOOD. lol.

Two. I worked at Subway for a month, hated it, quit, and now I work at Cracker Barrel. :)

What will you remember most about this summer?

This summer has been a summer of firsts and big steps for me. I graduated high school, I moved out of my house and into an apartment with two boys (my boyfriend and his best friend.), I stayed with a job for more than a month (We're going on three!), I got a car, I'll be starting college, I put myself in $20,000 of debt (school loans. lol.), and above all: I learned that I can do it on my own and still be ok. I miss my parents because I don't get to see them every day, but I still see them, and I'm proving to myself that I don't need to rely on them. I'm relying on myself and my husband-to-be...

And I'm ok with that. So what I'll remember most about this summer: Living life to the fullest, kickin' ass and taking names, my first piece of mail on my own, and being totally on my own for the first time ever.

Haha, yes. Yesterday, Caity, Kristin, Marissa, and I all went up to my pool to swim. I definitely got burned, and I think Marissa did too. But, it's all good. The burn is pretty much gone now, mostly brown, except for my face. Oh well. I will live, and it won't be there for too long.

After swimming, we piled into my car and ran to Cracker Barrel, so Marissa could fill out an application, and so I could put in a good word for her. I hope she gets a hosting job, 'cause then we would work together AGAIN! We used to work together at Subway, but I sunk that battleship a log time ago. She actually stayed there a lot longer than me... I dunno how. It sucked. (Mostly just the bosses there. They were total dicks.)

But, yeah, after the Crack, we went to TACO BELL, where I stupidly ordered Branden's food along with mine, and ended up going shopping after we ate, and then to Starbucks, while his food sat in my car. And yeah, needless to say, his nachos bell grande was kind of... soggy when we got back. :( I felt so bad.

 But, I did get a new hoodie. It's a black zip-up, with stars and hearts on it. And then the inside lining of the hood has the same pattern as the front of the jacket has. (It's like, in a band across the chest, not allover.)

 But... now I'm hungry. So I'm going to go have some cereal or something. Toodles!

PS: I GOT MY LOAN! I got the approval email last night. Now I just have to wait for the disbursement schedule. I'm so relieved, you have no idea.
